OHSAS18001 success

Sturrock Power is proud to announce we achieved OHSAS18001 accreditation for our health and safety management system in November 2011. We are in the fortunate position of having a Managing Director that is steadfastly committed to continual improvement. He sits on the health and safety committee along with the Operations and Financial Directors and representatives from multiple levels within the company.

By demonstrating this Senior Team commitment, employees have seen that health and safety is kept at the forefront of the decision making process. Employees have bought in and taken ownership of health and safety issues. Two way communication is encouraged and is taken onboard when setting company objectives and targets.

Involvement and support of employees has been a key factor in our OHSAS18001 accreditation, and combined with the Senior Management support through their commitment to continual improvement, we intend to maintain and improve our management of health and safety.
